Enhanced Country Poverty Assessment (ECPA)

The Enhanced Country Poverty Assessment is a study that seeks to estimate the extent, level and impact of poverty in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. Activities related to the conduct of the ECPA began in the 2nd half of 2018 and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2019. The project consists of five components namely the Survey of Living Conditions/Household Budgetary Survey, the Institutional Assessment, the Macro-Economic and Social Assessment, the Participatory Poverty Assessment and the Poverty and Vulnerability Mapping. The findings of this study will then determine the types of programs to be implemented and targeting mechanisms to be deployed that would effectively alleviate poverty and reduce the level of vulnerability of residents of St. Kitts and Nevis.
