Caribbean Statistics Day On the 15th of October 2019, the Department of Statistics in the Ministry of Sustainable Development of St. Kitts and Nevis celebrates Caribbean Statistics Day.
Consumer Price Index The Consumer Price Index is a summary measure of the rate of change in price of a fixed basket of goods and services over time.
Merchandise Trade Trade statistics are compiled using a special system that classifies goods that are processed through Customs Declaration System. The special system enables the Department to produce such tables as Imports, Domestic Exports and Re-exports by Commodity/Commodity group and Country.
Travel and Tourism The Travel and Tourism Program provides analysis and data on tourists who visit St.Kitts and Nevis. Statistics include stay-over arrivals by tourist’s age and gender, type of accommodation, length of stay, purpose of visit and country of origin.
Enhanced Country Poverty Assessment (ECPA) The Enhanced Country Poverty Assessment is a study that seeks to estimate the extent, level and impact of poverty in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. Activities related to the conduct of the ECPA began in the 2nd half of 2018 and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2019.
